Karrie joined Fighting Chance in early 2005 after 16 years of counseling cancer patients as an oncology social worker and Director of the Post-Treatment Resource Program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

WILLIAM DI SCIPIO, PH.D..
Senior Clinical Advisor
After a 35 year career that includes serving as Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, Dr. Di Scipio joined Fighting Chance in 2008 on a part-time basis counseling patients in our Sag Harbor office.

MARGARET BROMBERG, LCSW
Senior Clinical Advisor
Margaret is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with patients and families facing chronic illness. She joined Fighting Chance in 2010.

Maxa was trained by the Harold P. Freeman Patient Navigation Institute, a division of the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention. She joined us in 2009.
