But once they proceed to review some of the 75 pages of our Resource Guide, they are looking at localized information and most of them, probably, are in our service area. Nevertheless, we answer every email, regardless of where the cancer patient resides.
e-counseling… has permitted Fighting Chance to provide professional advice to cancer patients and their loved ones on a nationwide basis.
Our advisory emails are one-of-a-kind – based on a careful review of each email inquiry, and a response tailored to the needs that our professionals discern. Our counselors need to have at least a masters degree in social work and be exceptionally Internet-literate.
Our emails aim to be both empathetic and pragmatic. They often include referrals to local  supportive care resources for cancer patients.
